Mission is Possible Award
On February 8, 2014 Museum of Social Justice board members Leonora Barron, Betty Huebner, Joe Rodriguez, and Keith Rice attended the United Methodist West District Leadership Training workshop at Holman UMC to accept the Museum’s Mission is Possible Award. The museum along with 13 other organizations received the award for the work they are doing to help improve the conditions of people facing challenges in Southern California. The recipients of the award are doing incredible work such as providing homes for abused families, shelter for the homeless, educational assistance to foster children, and educational services and internships for college students. The Museum of Social Justice is extremely proud to have been acknowledged within the company of such great organizations doing vital work for the community.
