Museum of Social Justice Volunteer
Daisy R. Herrera is currently a student at California State University, Los Angeles and is completing her double master’s in Latin American Studies and Chicano Studies while simultaneously completing a certificate in Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies. She decided to volunteer at the Museum of Social Justice after completing her course in the history of Chicanos in California. She hopes to expand her knowledge on the Methodist Church’s local contributions to society during the expansion of El Pueblo de Los Angeles. Ms. Herrera will also be assisting the Museum of Social Justice historians in the development of the museum’s next exhibition.
