Oral History Workshops Coming

Beginning this Summer, the Education Center will host an ongoing series of oral history workshops.

Presented by Virginia Espino of the UCLA Library Center for Oral History Research, UCLA staff will train community members in oral history methods to record the stories of Olvera Street merchants, Historic La Plaza UMC congregation members and others. This program will coordinate with the Immigrant Media Initiative and assign its students to use their new skills to assist in filming oral histories. These will be included at various times in the exhibits or special events.

Details to be announced soon. To be notified of our coming sessions please drop us a note.
